The Democratic Men of Mecklenburg County is dedicated to re-engaging men in Democratic activism, addressing the 2024 election’s loss of male voters (2.1 million nationally, including Black, Hispanic, and working-class men, per the New York Times; 6-point male support drop, per Catalist.
Our endorsements for Mayor and City Council primary candidates reflect their commitment to mobilizing male voters, fostering inclusive spaces, and addressing issues like jobs, education, and community safety. Following our rigorous process—questionnaire submissions and the public Final Word Forum on September 5, 2025, at Gilde Brewery—we proudly announce our endorsed candidates on September 6, 2025, to strengthen the Democratic base in Mecklenburg County.
